Hey "Bro". Was wondering if you know of anyone or anything thats similar to a "acid bath" to remove all internal carbon, foreign particles, rust etc for motorbike pipes/exhause. I have a factory set of pipes for my 2stroker and wish to have them totally cleaned from the inside to outside before they get powder coated back to factory gloss black. Any suggestions or ideas would be great! Thanks! "keep the rubber side down, and shiny side up! ;)

Last time I had pipes apart I just drilled out the rivets, seperated the pieces, and cleaned with one of those yellow and green dollar store sponges and some dish soap. Took awhile but worked :)

He can also try a bath in a mix of pine sol and water, refer to this thread:

I had a buddy try to clean his carbs with pinesol, and he wasn't terribly happy with the result. ymmv

Thanks! I'll pass it on.

I'll tell him he was wrong then, shall I? :P
