EX500 dashboard lights cutting in and out

Hi people,
My dashboard lights started randomly cutting in and out, but no other lights did
Would I be correct to assume there's a weak connection somewhere therefore? And where would you recommend I check?

Agreed.

It's a big white wire harness. Unplug it and clean it with some electrical contact cleaner and plug it back in securely.

The red harness is for your signals.

While you're there remove your front fairing and replace the 3 dash bulbs ( # 194). It's only a few bucks at Can Tire and it'll brighten up your dash since the factory bulbs are cheap and weak anyway.

contact cleaner is a great idea, so is di-electrical grease which will keep moisture out
