Evening Track time at Shannonville

725 Motorsports of Belleville is holding an evening track day at Shannonville Thursday May 16th. We will be running the long track from 5:30 to 7:30pm. The cost will be $100 and entry will be limited to 20 riders with no groups, open track, so you will get lots of track time. Entry must be paid in advance at 725 Motorsports or by phone with a credit card. Call 725 Motorsports at 613-771-0725 to sign up or call Corey at 613-922-4201 for details. If we gets lot's of interest we will have more dates throughout the summer.
 
How would it be for a newer track day rider that hasn't been to Shannonville before? Medical/ambulance on staff? What layout you going to run?

Am I crazy but 100 bucks for 2 hrs seems pretty expensive, am I missing something here
 
It's a real race track, not an airport strip converted to a kart course.
 
As long as you have some track day experience and are not overly aggresive for your skill level then you will be fine. Most riders that come out are regulars and are very respectful of new riders. Some of us have lots of experience and will help you with lines and technique if you are interested. There will be an ambulance on site. As for price it seems like a lot of dollars but we are capping it at 20 bikes on long track and have to cover expenses. Figure out how much actual track time you get on a regular track day(20 min per hour) and compare it to the solid two hours you will get here it's not too much. I know I will be worn out before the two hours is over.

Lol, now I'm worried :) Courage, I have, skill, I'm working on :D

I know it's a good deal. Problem is I have a metal rod in my leg for a shattered femur two years ago and had hip surgery last tuesday so I'm not sure 2 hours straight would be a good value for me as I'd have to take frequent breaks :(

It's only two days until our track day and we only have eight people signed up. We have made the decision to switch to Fabi track instead of Long track so we don't lose our shirts. We will still be running open track (no groups) but will be capping it at 12 riders(the max allowed on track for insurance). If anyone plans on just showing up there is a good chance that you won't be able to ride so if you want one of the remaining spots then book it now. Anyone that has signed up already and doesn't want to ride Fabi please call for a refund.
