ESIM recommendation for riding in the US for the long weekend?

I'm heading to the Hawk rally this weekend in Elmira NY, and need recommendations for an ESIM plan. This is my first phone with ESIM capability, so I don't know anything about it, but thought I'd try it out. I won't need too many GB's since I know the way and usually use Google Maps in offline mode, and once I'm there I'll have Wi-Fi. It's just for emergency/convenience and to try out.

Reading some other threads, Airalo was mentioned, and a few family members have also used them. My daughter has a referral code so I'll use that. Now to figure out how many GB do I really need? I've never tracked data usage so not sure how much maps uses.

Waze and a scanner app are running whenever I am driving. For July, Waze used 260 MB, scanner used 277 MB. May and June were about half those numbers.

If you avoid watching videos, 1 GB should be more than enough.
