Epic Ducati 999 Flyby in 4K

Hey folks

I've posted a handful of videos of my 999 standing still and revving, so it's finally time to get that thing moving!

I find it interesting that other than the dry clutch sound being different. The motor sounds very similar to my Supersport 939...

Probably because they're both the same motor. Both Testastrettas, just 937 vs 998 CC.

Exactly! Different evolution of the testastretta, but still very similar. Best engine ever, in my opinion

Yea I do like the engine. Although it's no where near the performance of the Panigale V2. It seems to be more useful for street use. I love the low end torque. Hopefully it's a reliable motor seeing that the basic design has been around a few years.

Of course, the bike is more than 20 years old. Honestly, though, the V2's superquadro engine is a bit boring in comparison because it doesn't have the grunt of the old twins.
