I know this will be a long shot but I really need the solutions to both sets of questions 5 and 6. If by any chance anyone knows how to solve them....

I need it by tomorrow morning.

the second two are visible. I don't know why a) it uploads like that b)it doesn't let me upload a pdf over a certain size.

Sorry, haven't touched that math since 1996. All I know is the second question involve
(1/2)mv²=(1/2)mv²

Amirite?? lol

I can't even read half that crap.

r=2*π√(μ/κ)
=2*π√(5000kg/10^6N/m)
=Vibration Frequency ῡ (That should be a ν but I don't know how to do overhang ν; technically a mathematical Greek nu (n) with over score)

ῡ=1/(2*π*c)√(μ/κ)
=1/2*π*c)√(5000kg/10^6N/m)
=cm^-1

k = ν×λ or λ = k/ν ν = k/λ
ν = frequency s^-1 (Hz); λ = wavelength in m
k = speed of light = 2.998×10^6 m s-1 or 3.00×10^6 m s-1
wave number = 1/λ = 8.83m .: λ = 1/8.83m

Now just punch in the numbers. Math is fun.

Minutes I have spent using that knowledge since graduation = 0

I don't remember it being too challenging at the time. Just plug the numbers into the right equations....

When I was in college I knew I Was going into Biology, but here they were teaching me things like Projectiles (mechanics) & other crazy stuff. Kids today look at trigonometry & calculus as hard, at their age, I was pulling my hair out with even harder stuff.

My point? I haven't used that since the 90s

About the same here. I recall that there were some formulas that we had to know how to use in order to pass an exam, which I have long since forgotten (probably intentionally). I don't do vibration analysis.
