Holy ****....it's impossible to call these motherfuckers nowadays. All signs point you to the stupid chat, 'need a call back?' 'yes' 'sorry we're too busy right now, gfy'

Koodo added a line to my account with 'unlimited calling within Canada' meanwhile they charged me for every single call the MIL made on that line. That's $400 and I can't speak to someone regarding this ******** except I have to wait for a callback at some point during the day tomorrow. FML.

Anybody got a line on how to get through these menus? It disconnects me everytime I get to the third level.

OH...and if you want to make changes to the account...$10...'80% of our customers can fix their issue with the digital assistant....click'

I use Twitter for Rogers

You used to be able to swear at Emily (can't remember what company she was used by) and that would get you to a person. They probably fixed that now as 90% of the people calling in start with foul language because they are so annoyed at paying to be robbed.

EDIT:
I needed to use this trick at work as corporate internet was down. I let my boss know what was happening beforehand as it was an open concept office and we don't normally swear at people on the phone.

i just keep pressing zero until someone picks up, works most of the time lol.
Actually it doesn’t. Mashing zero on a well configured auto attendant will move you to the back of the line ever 0press.

Want a fast way in? Here are 3 tips:

Follow the call tree to collections then say “oops! Can you transfer me to customer service. Internal transfers are sent to the front of the queue.

Do the authentication they ask. Provide your phone number, bank card, answer the automated attendant questions and you’ll also jump the queue.

I’mif the provider has an account management app that has a “contact us” button available after logging in, try that, you’ll likely go to the front of the queue.

Not saying anybody else is good, but Koodo is by far the worst for this BS. The virtual agent that they make you talk to is both extremely primitive and insulting. I dunno if priming your customers with rage is a good idea before putting them in touch with a human

don't do fb, twitter,
I do have a chatr flip phone - $25 month unlimited call/text in canada

Im not liking the electronics/plastic for everything...I use cash 95% of the time, or go to a teller to do business
.
I'll shoot the tv with a pellet gun for you next time a koodo tune commercial comes on.

The Koodo online chat blows major chunks....but their staff is pretty good. All charges reversed and a credit issued. The wrong plan was entered in and something got crossed.

Plus after the chat the girl called back and said she made an error and just wanted to let me know international long distance incoming calls are free.

Time to tell the fam to call in every night, chat for 10 minutes and leave the line open for a few hrs.
