Long story short, friend crashed his bike, single vehicle accident, police did whatever it is they need to do, released the vehicle, no tickets no nothing.
No claim was made to the insurance company for any damages BUT he did end up needing a ride in an ambulance and the officer who responded to the scene called a towtruck and gave him what I believe is an accident report (basically a white piece of paper saying that he responded to the accident, where it took place and my buddy's driver's license info).
Will this impact his rates if nothing was claimed and no tickets were issued? I would imagine that in such a case the insurer would have an accident report show up in the MTO database if they were to check more than his abstract.
