Early end of the season

Sup Everyone,

So I had my first crash. Some idiot pulled a u-turn right through me. I honked my horn and swerved out of the way because I thought he was just cutting me off. I didn't realize his intent until he was pointing right at me. He clipped the back of me, I went down and he took off. Nobody got his license plate for me, but one witness was extremely helpful.

I know I'm supposed to be thankful that it wasn't worse but still, I'm really upset. My bike is a mess and so is my foot. Bumps, bruises and aches all over but my gear held up well. I just wish it never happened. Damn city drivers.

Sorry to hear about your bike :( Glad you're okay overall. Amazing how bad some people are at driving...and it sucks when you get ploughed over by one of them!

Too bad you were hurt, i would have jumped on the bike and chased him down.

The true words of someone that was not in the moment, I bet if you were on the plane on 9/11 you would have single handedly taken down all the hijackers as well.

Glad your ok and your gear held up,

Glad to hear you're OK, Makes me want to install a front and rear camera.

Check to see if any of the companies near your accident got this a holes plate on camera other than that seems he got off scott free

Similar happened to my girlfriend at the beginning of the season. This guy was from Orillia and looked like Bubbles from the Trailer Park Boys. Stupid comes from all over and in all shapes and sizes. Get well soon and ride again!

Sorry to hear that. Glad your ok - first and foremost. Better to be hit/pushed, as opposeed to being run over.

Winter is coming quick this fall - take the time to get some rest - and figure out the bike situation for next season.

That really sucks. Sorry to hear that but glad you're okay. I almost had an incident with an idiot as well. Some jackass cut me off and slammed on the brakes. I thought I was gonna slam into his rear end. Managed to stop about an inch or two from his bumper. I was shocked and stunned that I didn't go down. Way too close for comfort. City drivers are always in a hurry to get nowhere.

Thanks for the well wishes. I saw my bike today for the first time since the accident. It's a sad sight, I don't know if it's repairable. Part of me hopes it can be fixed.
