earbuds?

How many of you guys/girls ride with a little tunes? Also wondering which earbuds you use?

I've done it occasionally, and I just have skull candy buds that fit pretty well.

I use these. Protects me from going deaf but i can still hear everything around me, including that sweet honda growl at 8,000rpm + :D

BTW everyone is gonna flame me to hell for this, but you have no business listening to music when riding a motorcycle out on the streets

I listen to tunes all the time. Started off with the regular iPhone earbuds, they worked ok, kinda uncomfortable though and occasionally fell out of my ears while putting my helmet on. Bought myself a Sena Bluetooth and would never go back to earbuds. Works amazing with Siri. Make calls, reads my texts, and plays my music all at the touch of a button (or two)

JVC Marshmallows, earplugs if I'm doing 100km/h+

Because you cant hear things around you...you know cars, emergency vehicles, your engine, etc...

I guess that would be true if you went on full volume, but if your using the headphones for the same purpose as earplugs, and with the 15% of the volume of the phone, it's just golden.

I listen to ear buds. Gotta get something more practical since they get awkward when I put the helmet on.

Fyi, I'm able to hear just fine

Use something similar, I would like to hear things past my 50's... :)

Went through tons of Skullcandy's but one bud would always die out after a few months. The Samsung ones that came with my phone have been the best so far...

I have a Sena SMH5 it works great with my IPhone and Siri. With the volume set properly I can hear everything around me.

Theres a little function that they invented called adjusting the volume for a reason. :P

I ride with whatever earbuds stay on when I put my helmet on. As for volume, I only wear 1 ear piece and have the volume low enough to hear a car if it were beside me.

There are people that listen with both earbuds in blasting their music though which could be seen as a problem in terms of hearing emergency vehicles around especially if they're going through a red and you don't notice.

Used earplugs, then earbuds, then back to ear plugs, etc.

Finally pulled the trigger on Sena SMH10 and haven't looked back. Speakers are loud and clear enough that I can hear just fine, with ear plugs in, at highway speeds. Taking phone calls when I need to, is a very nice feature to have as well. Ride enough, and you'll see.

Sidenote: Sena makes a version where you can plug in your own headphones.
