I suspect they’ve taken the 890 engine and made it bigger

Wait a minute...if theres a duke 990...that means there will be an 990 adventure...and maybe even a 990 SMT?
Is this why they havent released in NA? Do a little test run in europe and release the bigger version in NA a year or 2 later?

The 2024 1290 Super Adventure S is up on their website but not the R version. Curious (hopeful) to see if the R version gets a 1390 motor. If this happens I could see a 990 version now that they no longer do a 1090.

I'm likely showing my age but, HOLY CRAP that is one FUGLY bike!

Looks REALLY fun to ride but I'd need to wear a blindfold every time I went in to the garage.

yeah that headlight is pretty ugly.

If the width of the mouth was controlled by throttle position, they may be on to something. As a static display, I don't like what they did.
