Ducati Mecchanic

Z1 Cycletech. Zaid had an Italian guy working there last summer, not sure if still there or not but Zaid can fix you up either way.

Z1 is looking for a tech right now. I don't know what that indicates but it can't hurt to give them a call.

Zaid does the bulk of all the Duc work himself, from tune up to tear down, air cooled/water cooled, matters not.

Speedworx has a mechanic that used to do alot of "home" work on italian bikes . Cant remember his name but many on this forum have talked about him in the past. Ken Livingstone (head mechanic at GP Bikes) has been working on Ducs forever. Not sure what your after or what style (air/water/vintage/four valve......) your talking about here.

I was at z1 last spring and they had an italian apprentice mechanic that was learning the Ducati's but he doesn't work there anymore. Those guys are Z1 are very picky and Z won't let any screw ups slide so apparently he had to let the mechanic go... not sure what his name was. Z himself has insane amount of knowledge about Ducs so i wouldn't hesitate to go there. I no longer have my Duc but he's always treated my toys like his own.

Maybe closer to home for you, I've been told by a Ducati club member the tech at Peninsula Motor sport in Oakville was quite good.

I have never had service done there, I've bought parts and been given advice that was good. MANY on this board are not fans of Penninsula, my experience so far has been ok.

+1 for Zaid, he is a genius with all bikes and not just Ducati's, my 748 always rode better every time I got it back from him and now that he has Glen on his team which just makes things better. I have never taken my bike anywhere else and don't plan to.
