Jamie in the above pic doesn't even have the TKC80s so common for this type of use on a sportbike. It's been done for years on all kinds of bikes. I've seen pics of numerous 650Rs converted this way.

Although I find it funny when these sites say the bikes are modified for off road when all they did was put different tires on it.

Reminds me of that Mission Impossible (MI2???) bike chase with the Triumphs (Speed Triple and a Daytona I think). The bike's tires miraculously change from street tires to something like these when they got off the road...

Although I find it funny when these sites say the bikes are modified for off road when all they did was put different tires on it.

Well they did custom fab the exhaust/skidplate and changed up the suspension for maximum ground clearance, but it was mostly the tires. If they'd put some long travel forks/shock in it then it would be interesting.
