Dropped bike - repairs?

I dropped my bike for the first time two weeks back. I hit some gravel and fell on my left side. Messed up my left knee quite a bit but I'm almost fully healed now.

Bike damage - Fairing is cracked and scratched. Handle bar and clutch are scraped a bit. Front left turn signal broke right off. My shifter WAS bent all the way up, but luckily there were some bikers around after I fell and they helped me get it in good enough condition to ride back home.

Any recommendations on where I can take my bike to get it checked out and have my turn signal replaced? I'm located in Mississauga. And should I even bother with repairing/replacing the fairings?

First off glad to hear you're okay,

what type of bike is it?

As for the fairings i'd just leave them as is for a while or until you feel comfortable to drop the money on new fairings. As for your handlebar and clutch, if they are just scratched and not broken/bent then they are fine. If your lever is broken then purchase one they aren't expensive at all and very simple to replace. Do the same for your left signal. Depending on the bike of course prices vary. But if its a 125, 250, 300 these parts will be fairly cheap to replace and shouldn't give you a tough time to install them yourself. For the shift lever i suggest having it looked at as its the bigger issue. Maybe post some pics to give us a better idea

Glad your ok!!

You can just order the turn signal and replace it yourself.. its pretty easy.

If you wanna get your fairing fixed you can take it to Reflections, TJ does amazing work!! He can patch it up and paint for you. He did my fairings and they look amazing! He is located in Niagara but its worth it! You can pm him on here.. carboncat.

Cheers! :)

When you post something like this its usually a good idea to let us know what bike you're referring to...It helps us know what you're dealing with.

Look for fairings on eBay. You will over pay locally unless you can find good used ones. Check out AsianConnection71's eBay store as he often has brand new OEM fairings for less than half what they cost here (he ships them to you from Thailand).

Replace them yourself. It's easy.

leaves your fairings as they are for now...After a nice a wash and wax most of the scratches will be minimized. If they shifter is fine leave it for now, if not its about 40 bucks. The signal is also about 40 bucks. If you have the signal housing/bulb intact you can just pop it back on and put on some super glue. Touch up the lever and bar end with black nail polish.

If you end up ordering the parts and need help, I'm really close to Sq.1 and you can bring it to me. I'll have you on your way in 10 minutes...I've replaced those parts on this bike countless times...
