there are many excellent bands out there, and i was wondering who you might consider the best, or if you coulod make a "dream Team "
but in order to do this, I would think you would need a ratings system, kinda like Madden 13
or NHL12, where the makers of the game have assigned numerical values to certain players.
Obviously, 99 would be the highest number you'd use, and you would need certain criteria for having such a number.
My drummer would be Neil Peart. I score him higher than Keith Moon, and John Bonham because of the fact the Neil provides almost 100% of the lyrical content for Rush, and this talent cannot be ignored.
My Rhythm is a tough choice. you need a fantastic guitarist, and an innovator of sound.
Thats the reason why I would take The Edge.
Lead Guitar may be a suprising one, as I'd take Prince. he can thrown down with anyone, and he's also got top notch writing skills to boot.
Bassist for me is a no-brainer. John entwistle, if you have to ask why, you should not be reading this.
Lead Singer- many people would take Robert plant, or freddie mercury, because they have amazing voices. But for me, they dont sound "dirty/gritty", and thats what we need for a solid core rock n roll band. thats why I'll take Rod Stewart.
i think a band like this could have been dominant in almost any genre of music.
honorable mention to Ron Wood, Bon Scott, Flea, Ian Gillan, ritchie blackmore
who would you guys have ?
