So i went down riding last night taking a hard left turn and slipped on gravel. I was lucky to only have a small abrasian on my left knee. Jeans are completely gone (I have my leathers on order and wont be getting in till next week..just my luck..) Only my left turn signal was broken and my frame sliders took the brunt of everything. My shifter was bent but i managed to get a wrench and re-bent it back into shape Somehow I still managed to rash up my frames but NOTHING was cracked! just scuffed.

Does anyone know the best way to repaint the fairings? Its a 2010 ninja 250r blue. Also if anyone has an extra left hand front turn signal up for sale.

Glad you're ok.

Krashasaki knows all about crashing! Krashasaki has been through many turn signals, and knows that Kahuna can get them for you for about $33.

Krashasaki recommends that you do not repaint the fairings right now. Frankly, you might drop it again, so it's not worth it. You should wait until the winter or something to get them done. You should also see the Krashasaki's fairings! They'd make you cry!

You could try repainting yourself, but it's a lot of work. There are forum members here that specialise in that stuff. Pick up the OEM paint from Color-rite to get an exact match to your blue.

hahhaha.. 33$?!?!? THats it!? im going down there now then!

PS im replacing my current frame sliders to the shoguns.. the frame sliders right now are a POS. Im going to purchase the nocut shoguns. They're mounted on BOTH engine bolt mounts. The one i have are only connected to the upper bolt mount. In a crash there is enough torque to bend these pathetic bars.....wish i bought the shoguns in the beginning.. :(

Color-rite? that a store or an online-store?

Is that Yetti or just a wanna-be.

To the OP, I suggest going with Woodcraft.

dam... Im prob going to buy the aerosal can and spray the coats. I've done model painting before when i was a bit younger so it shouldn't be an issue. Im not a complete dope at painting. i just dropped by kahuna and they ordered me the L/H front signal.

Dam pricey.....
