That wasn't even cross traffic... that's just sad
 
What's the higher suite - failure to stop or unsafe turn?
 
I believe it's always the left-turner, because you shouldn't proceed if there's someone coming through. I mean, who makes their turn no matter what, just because their light is turning red. Dumb.
 
Takes two to tango. Plain as day in the video, they both violated the red light. Hope the cops know you have this video ...

Ya, and at an intersection with a Red Light camera. I spoke with one cop at the scene and have emailed him a link to the video.
 
Epic. I hope they both don't have any significant long-term injuries so that others can mock them, and they can be shamed by their own conscience for their blatant disregard of the red-light.
 
No they both seemed fine, just shaken up from the incident. From what I saw the airbags didn't deploy on either car - just a lot of coolant and maybe fuel leaking from both cars.
 
The left turning one was DEFINITELY not supposed to go.

The straight one either...but that kind of "inattention" can somewhat happen.
Oh well.

Was waiting to turn left at a busy intersection in London and few days ago. My light turned yellow, I waited to see that oncoming traffic was slowing before i turned left. A car that was behind a car that stopped for the red changed lanes and blew the red after I had already cleared the intersection.

Driving is hard.

Looking at the video potential tickets to be issued

2X fail to stop traffic control device, red light. One for each vehicle.
1X fail to yield/improper left turn for left hand turn vehicle.

Insurance outcome. 2x bend over...lol
