Don't lose your FIDO phone after hours

I thought I had lost my Fido phone Saturday and wanted to shut it down to prevent someone from finding it and running up 900 or long distance charges. I found out that they don't have a system to do so or anyone on duty to do anything outside of normal business hours. I finally found the phone under a cushion.

Unrealistic expectations on my part or not?

Do other providers have 24/7 emergency services?

can do that (and possible find my phone) via apple's website
 
rogers you can, but it will take 4 attendants and about an hour of your time, especially bad before a long weekend because they send you down to a US location (don't ask me why) and they don't have access to the same info as the canadian offices do...it's retarded...and then on top of which you have to fix whatever it is they screw up on the bill...ugh...

You can say that again brother... I just cancelled my Rogers and they asked why..I explained the bill problems and the fact it took me 45 mins of MY time to bundle my cable and wireless bills..then he says "yes, but why are you cancelling?" Unbelievable..
