DONT EVER DEAL WITH CAL LOGISTICS! I have a shipment coming from overseas, Paid heavy for air to get it here asap, Still takes a week. Must be using Cessna's!!!!! Charge me another 160 on this end. Fine, dont take credit cards, must be prepaid before I can get advice note (needed for clearance). So I get to go to the bank, pay for a bank draft because thats ALL they will accept (no cash even) pay for the draft then drive an hour each way to hand it to them only to have to drive back tomorrow and do the clearance!!!!!!!!! What a PIA and so unnecessary there goes my day or should I say two. I have more to order from them but it will be no deal unless they find new freight forwarder. Ok rant over back to your original broadcast day!
 
I work in logistics and have never heard of them ... I tried google and pretty much only relevant link is your post here .. LOL

Every serious forwarder will take a credit card. Unless it's coming from middle of Mongolia it should not be more than 3 days max.

Went today they had the advise note so I got it all done at once. They are in 6500 Silverdart upstairs. Pretty sparse office.
I hear what your saying I was import manager for Delmar for a few years and was a rater with Blaiklock Murry and Robinson before that. may be before your time depending how long you have been in it. My office was in Cargo B where Terminal 3 now stands :)

They do exist. The Company is Calgary Customs. My department deals with chasing brokers to get stuff cleared before our drivers hit the border. They are basically a 9-5 with no after hours. They have a poor clearance %. Any shipments routed to them very rarely get cleared on time.

Lol it's your job to call and give me **** for shipments when the teams f*** up.

Not my job. My staffs job. If hurst us to have to put a shipment in bond if the broker does not do their job and get the shipment cleared through customs in time. Means we have to hold the shipment and can`t deliver it until it`s cleared.

I've always wondered.. How much does it cost you guys when you have to take it in bond?
