I took a walk to Bathurst Park with my wife yesterday, and ended up walking down Don River Blvd, under Sheppard Ave W and heading for home. I was out with my wife for a short walk to take some photos with my new camera (Sony A7IV w/ Tamron 70-180mm f2.8 if anyone's curious ) when I heard the unmistakable sound of a motorcycle behind me.
I quickly grabbed my camera and turned around. I didn't have tracking focus or continuous shooting enabled (I usually do, but today we were taking nature photos) but I managed to get some photos off. As he passed, we nodded at each other, and somehow I feel like he might have guessed I was a rider too.
It was honestly a great experience. The bad news is that because of being in the wrong focus mode, I didn't get many great shots. But, I got this one, and it's awesome. So I wanted to share it here, with hopes that the rider from yesterday might see and appreciate it, as well as the rest of you.
Cheers, and ride safe <
