Dog groomers

I'm looking for a good, trustworthy dog groomer in either Richmond Hill, Aurora, Newmarket, or nearby. I am also open to those places where one can groom one's own dog using their facilities. Any recomendations?

Thats too funny you posted this. I just got in from the groomers not long ago.

There is a place i take my dog, but it is in Whitby. The place is called Pawsitively Pets, and they do everything in front of you. You can stand there and watch the whole thing, unlike other places.
I doubt youll find a place that will let you do your OWN grooming due to insurance liabilities.

Yeah no worries .. sometimes it worth the drive to a good place. lol ..

I kinda get worried when i drop off the dog to some groomers, and they take them behind the door to wash/dry them.
The dog came out once very nervous, like someone had been yelling at her the whole time.

Id rather watch the whole time and know how they get treated ..

I think there is a place in oakville on Dorval that lets you do it using there stuff. Its in the plaza just north of the qew, think the plaza is called dorval crossing?

We cut our dogs fur last time and it will be the last, just a simple shave. After trying it ourselves I believe dog groomers earn every penny I pay them. I'd give our groomers info, but she's in Brampton.

Mine have a deal worked out with the cats... Cats keep the dogs "groomed"... Dogs keep the litter boxes clean.
Work good for me!

I've never had a problem with either Petsmarts in Newmarket (Ask for Dawn), Petsmart Elgin Mills or Hiway 7. I take my lab there all the time and he comes out happy as a clam
