Does anyone here use DellVoice?

I just got off a stupidly expensive contract with Rogers and was wondering if anyone used DellVoice? It looks like you only need a data plan and nothing else to call anyone in Canada. Has anyone used this app? How's the voice quality? I really want to ditch as much as I can so I don't have to pay a ton a month.

I use it when I travel to call GTA. It works pretty good but I do not think long distance is free. You can pick local area and only that is free.

Also I only used it on wifi.
It is free, just try it out...

GoogleVoice account can be used with Talkatone. I use it to call Canada and US from across the globe with excellent quality.

I'm trying it out now, and from what I make out it's free calls to most of Canada.

I'll also download this and give it a shot, thanks. Is there any hidden catches with Talkatone or is it if you want to pay to get rid of the ads you can?

No hidden costs. Pay to remove ads. You also have to pay for the high quality compression codec. I prefer to turn call compression off.

Had trouble with it, they actually called me and asked me how it went. And told them it didnt work at all, they told me to call tech support, i never did cause i didnt need to use it again

Gave my folks my old 3gs with Dell voice loaded onto it, they took it to italy and we were able to communicate very well with it. They only used it while connected to Wifi but it seemed to work well enough.

Sometimes it takes a couple of seconds while connecting the call to be able to start talking, but after that it works well.
