Do you think you're cool under pressure?

Holy crap!

As if skydiving wasn't scary enough to begin with....

This happened only a few weeks ago and was all over the news so they were interviewing the divers, most of whom said they'd be out again almost right away.

The first/top plane managed to land safely.

Crazy stuff.

Whats the big deal?

They were going to jump out anyway...

When I did my one and only parachute jump, I had to climb out the plane onto a step, whilst holding onto the wing strut. All the time I'm worrying about slipping and falling and killing myself. Once I was in position I had no problem letting go and flying off into the air. Weird the way the brain works.

Those people were crazy enough to jump out of a perfectly good airplane. Jumping out of a Foro'd airplane wouldn't be a big deal at all

I think a lot of people imagine they'd be cool under pressure.

The one thing I do know is that the best way to be cool under pressure is to be very familiar with a situation, so that it seems normal. Unfortunately, that's not always practical for a person to get such experiences (like say, being familiar with being shot at).

That's the only way to persuade me to jump. I won't even have second thoughts

Skydiving isn't scary. Meat heads flying planes is. That video was nuts

The moral is: if you're going to be in a mid-air collision, best to be hanging out on strut with your chute on.

And you could tell the dufus pilot was NOT worrying about flying the plane. He was watching the jumpers.

Why was one plane trying to fly on top of the other? Idiotic. What happened to the planes crashing? Did the lower one hit the building/hangar?

I'd definitely like to try skydiving and also being the meathead flying a plane.. One day I'll give it a shot  Speaking of which, just going out shooting is a good way to desensitize yourself to gunfire while having a blast at the same time ;)

Meh, I'm not stunned by that video at all. They have a safety device strapped to their back. The only danger I see there is being knocked out from the collision. Hopefully they're all wearing helmets

lol....they were already prepared to jump out of a plane....just had to do it a few sec before planned. No biggie.

When I was an air cadet I swore that I would never jump out of a plane, unless I positively had to. That pretty much covers that.

the comments said everyone was okay...how do you land a plane that only has 1 wing?
