Nice. Q is a legend. You got to cut with him? Very cool. It would feel very wierd for me to Q & A cut with him as his stye (& Babu's) influenced my own style heavily through the 90's.
 
Nice! My friend who's a beatboxer got to open for one of his shows in Toronto a few months back.

He is on the ones and twos in Hamilton tonight. Come on out!
 
Qbert will be at club 77 in Hamilton 2night. I use to be big in the battle scene years ago. I will be battling mid august at club 77 for the Canadian DMC competition if you dudes are into that come out and support.

and I did throw some clear coat on it. also got some clear coat on parts I didnt want to. how can I remove that?

I'm from Hamilton and he's performing @ 77 my buddy picked him up at the airport. I get a call from qbert himself telling me to come over to scratch lol..it's honesty a dream come true. he's been my idol ever since. I seen him live a bunch of times but this was something to remember. LEGENDARY!

Man, I haven't been to a DMC in like 10 years! It would probably be fun to see one again but I'd feel like an old guy since Im guessing the audience is all like 18-21 now. I sort of felt like those shows were in a bit of a decline. Just seemed like everybody was recycling the same juggling patterns and same old cuts. Guys pressing their own wax specifically for battles and stuff... Now I hear you can use Serato? Crazy!

I think its gotten a little too technical for the average person where the only people that can really appreciate whats going on are other DJs.


Yeah, post of some vids or something or even just put up your DJ name so we can youtube you.
 
I always wondered why Qbert just bounced around on that block pyramid? Maybe you could ask him for me?
