i need some help

trying to help me friend get the ticket dropped

got a ticket for disobey sign

ask for disclosure and got the officers notes - see attached

have a previous ticket of failure to share road while overtaking

what is the best course of action? plead guilty to a lesser charge or fight it

Could you post a larger image of the notes? It's tough enough to read most officers' hand writing, without it being on microfiche too.

"Disobey sign" actually is the lesser charge, in most cases, so I don't know what he would plead down to.

Are those notes in English?

Can you ask to have the notes typed up so a human can read them? This Could add to further delays, increasing chances of 11b?

I have a clear vuew for approx 20 m past the stops signs

The vehicle made no attempt to stop @ the stop sign. I pulled the vehicle over @ 2906 Westoak Trails Blvd. The Driver Id'd herself with a digital photo on a valid D/L and valid ins.PON950654B was issued for Disobey Sign.

First step: Go to the stated location and see if his description of the sightlines is anything approaching accurate. The actual first step of getting pictures of the sign immediately after the ticket was issued has presumably already been missed.

Officer's notes also seem sound. I don't see her getting a plea deal. The only hope would be discrediting the officer on the stand, but that's a long shot.

*edit* Just found it on Google Maps with the stop signs. I don't see any house numbered 2084 on Stratus, but if he was parked right in front of one of those houses he would have a clear view of the intersection.

i think he meant 2184 - regardless it was a summer morning - sun was up bright and early clear view

any possible plea bargains with no points?

From the notes it sounds like it was the vehicle's fault. He should have charged the vehicle.
It's probably too late to get good diagrams or photos if everything's changed. If a conviction is likely, shoot for a lesser one.
