Hello!

I got WR450F and it needs new tires. Since I am new to all this I have no clue what to get.
Ganaraska is all I did so far and I think I best get tires for that terrain.
For reference it is soft, sandy with rocks and roots in the mix :)

Also rear wheel has lose/seized spokes. They might be beyond help, must try some oil...

Who would be good person to re-lace the wheel ?

Thanks!

I've been using the kenda Millville in there and they've worked fairly well. If you go with a soft sand tire it will be ruined in a couple weekends by the roots/rocks especially on a 450. I just lower the pressures (9psi in the wet 12psi hardpack/dry) when it gets muddy and haven't had any real traction issues.

Thanks! I think I'll try those!

I was there last weekend with Bridgestone M203's and they worked quite well. They are new (only rode the track once with them before Ganny) and they didn't appear to wear much at all. Hopefully they stand up to the rocks. I've ridden a few other spots with them since and so far I'm quite happy with them.

I'm running a dunlop mx51 on the rear. Pretty good tire if you're trying to cover everything.

Our tracks are typically loose first thing in the morning, and it pulls pretty good through that stuff, but by the end of the day the tracks get pretty firmed up and they grip good through that too. Almost a year of riding on my current rear and I'm only now thinking of maybe replacing it.
I ride Gopher Dunes with it too, and it's not all that bad their either.

Front I'm running a pirelli scorpion Mid-Soft... One of my favourite tires. Always lots of grip with that tire.

Thanks for the input guys! I am not sure that I will notice much difference on my skill level.
I have mid soft Scorpion XC tires now but they are worn so no clue how that compares to new ones.
It seems like I am always all over the place but throttle usually gets me through :)
