I had $215 left. Not really an accurate simulation. For one thing, what is a poor person doing with a car and once it's been repossessed how can I have car troubles again? Laundry does not cost $30. Student loans provide short term interest relief, at least in Canada. I saw many other bad assumptions. But I get the point. I've personally been there and, while it sucks, it's very possible to dig yourself out as long as you don't let yourself slide too far into depression.
