Just went to the show this morning and figure I'd share some info specifically on deals since there is a thread on the general impression on the show.
Riders Choice has a few specials on tires and motor oil. Specifically, $39 for the Motul 7100 4L. Not sure if its a super deal but more than $10 less than what I usually pay at Royal. Seems like a good deal to me. Also, some tires special which is ok price if you factor in that you don't need to pay for shipping fees from ordering online but not super great. For example $289 for 2CT 120/180 combo.
One of the Yamaha dealership is clearing out their gears, 40% off the ticketed price. But I think those are demo helmet since there's only one left of each. Nonetheless, saw a guy picked up 4 Shoei. There is a solid black RF1100 for $280 with discount.
I think if someone is seriously planning on getting a bunch of gear and stuff, best to go tomorrow late afternoon just before it closes. Someone mentioned this on the forum before, as well even one of the sales rep from the show today hinted that possibility. As well, you can bargain with them on their clearance items 'much easier' like those helmets. Having been involved with trade show myself, it is a pain in the *** to pack all the stuff back when the original intend is to get rid of them and not really try to make a profit.
