I bought a new Honda CBR ABS 2012. When it was delivered by the dealership, it had 7km on it.It was delivered by a delivery company. Is my Bike, a return? How can I check if my bike is a return, or if I am infact the first owner.

I'm going to guess that is due to a test ride after they assemble it and give it to you.

Agreed.

^^ This. Part of the PDI. Enjoy the new ride!

They want to make sure the bike doesn't fall apart when you're riding in the highway ;)

The factory tests it before it leaves their hands and then the dealership will retest it as part of their inspection. Anything up to 10km would be normal on a brand new bike.

If someone returned a bike after 7 km, they need to seriously evaluate how they make decisions in life. :/

It's fine, have fun with the new bike.

You can get a used vehicle information from mto for 20 bucks, but like everyone already said its probably just them testing it...

These bikes are shipped to the dealer in crates. Once assembled it's tested. It would be a liability for the dealer to assemble the bike and let it out the door without a test ride. Enjoy your bike, wear your gear and ride safe.

Its a total scam! You should give me your bike now for the weekend to ensure its been fully looked over.

It may come back with more than 7kms on it though. :)

No need to worry, statistically LEGAL gun owners are much less likely to commit a crime than everyone else :D

Agreed with others, they took it around the block for a quick test spin.

My first bike, 2012 Ninja 250 was new but had 6kms on it when I picked it up. I knew it was new as they had to put the bike together out of the crate, the 6kms was from the test ride. I had no concerns. When I picked up my new 2012 ZX6R it had 0km, I was like "WTF..... no test ride from the mechanics ?!?! LOL, I guess I will test it".
