This is all the information I have.
This is very local to me, this is what I heard.
It happened between 5-5:30 pm last night.

A 28 yr. young biker died yesterday @ Park Rd. + Smith Blvd., Egypt ON His girlfriend was air lifted to Sunnybrook Hospital... Condition unknown.
Bike was at a FULL STOP @ Stop sign - DID EVERYTHING RIGHT!

Green p/u truck driving North on Park Rd. made a LEFT TURN right over the bike ????? Didn't slow down, just turned and cut the corner... guess he didn't want to wait for the Southbound car to pass !!! WTF

Gods Blessings to the victims, and all those that witnessed and stopped to help these young people....

R.I.P. to the rider and I hope the passenger comes out of it okay.

If it turns out the p/u driver was drunk, that's straight up murder.
 
Hell, this is close to home for me. I ride that area headed to visit family regularly and only live 15km away. RIP rider (I hope it's no one I know), and GWS pillion.
 
Driver was drunk and suspended license...
Throw the book at him. Hope he ends up in jail for 25+ years.

(hits close to home. I was on Smith Blvd just 4 days ago enjoying GTA Phototag game) .. so sad.
 
Xtina..I stand corrected..My apologies for the misinfo..It was local talk late last night and this morning until the news article clarified it..
This is bad..this drunk driver needs to be put away for a long time.

44-year-old man is charged with impaired driving causing death, impaired driving causing bodily harm, dangerous operation causing death, dangerous operation causing bodily harm, criminal negligence causing death, criminal negligence causing bodily harm, failure to comply with recognizance and driving while disqualified.

He did nothing right. The biker did nothing wrong. Lady's injuries non-life threatening.

Disgusting drunk.

RIP Rider and GWS lady.
 
makes me sick to my stomach........ could happen to anyone in an instant. I hope the judge isn't lienient on him and he gets a full sentence.


GWS passenger, and RIP Rider, I hope he went quick, and didn't have a chance to know what happened.
 
So incredibly sad!!! May the rider Rest In Peace and I can only imagine the horror the poor passenger has to now live with.

I HATE drunk drivers!!! That selfish #$%&* probably even tore the heart from his own family too!!
 
RIP Rider, GWS passenger, condolences to family and friends. So senseless. Lengthy prison term is a must.
