I opened the thread expecting Evo to be talking about his awesome new Daytona 660.

Seems like one heck of a bang for the buck.
With some suspension upgrades folks with a lot more invested are going to be sadly surprised.
Triumph has been knocking them out of the park lately - Japanese manufacturers wake up !

Isn't that the standard pattern? Japan makes reliable vehicles but makes minimal attempt to make them interesting. They just sit back and continue beating the "we're the best and if you consider any other options, you're an idiot". It's not true 100% of the time (hurray yamaha cp2) but seems to be true more often than not. Triumph giving them a beating is a bit of a surprise.

Id definitely want to try it out... to compare to my Trident. But for my 90% commuter scenario, it's probably not worth it
