Days as an apprentice are over

Hey folks. I was an apprentice at an auto shop for almost 4 years and just finished school.
So I'm no longer an apprentice. That means I must write the license exam, it's actually Monday.
For all you licensed mechanics (auto) can you share your test taking experience?
Was it easy, moderate, or very hard?

its easy, but read the questions carefully there are 4 to pic from 2 are completely wrong one is correct and one could be correct. I got 91% on it,
 
i should have added, it really depends what type of shop you worked at, if you did minor repairs on cars and didnt have some one there to explain things to you it could get hard, like on the engine rebuild questions and tranny question about fluid flow etc but good luck im sure you will do good

If you want to copy of the person sitting beside you, make sure they aren't writing their hair dressers exam :D

That sucks if the do that now. I wrote for my licence in 1980 I think. Got the inter-provincial (red seal). Back then it took 3 months to get results. The year I wrote my test, they changed the rules and renewal became the day you wrote the test, instead of your birthday.

Agreed, when I wrote it the red seal was something to be proud of. Disappointing if inter-provincial is given automatically.

The Red Seal is given automatically because 70% is now a pass. When you wrote, 60% was a pass. The question was raised to the Ministry, "why should our businesses pay for the training of these guys and gals, and then only the ones with the lowest passing marks have to stay in the province to work?"
