Howdy all!
I'm just getting my foot in the door this summer and I'm trying to research as much as I can before tackling my rider training course in April. I work with a couple of experienced riders so I hope to be learning more from them out on the road soon.
I've always loved older UJMs and British bikes but finding one used in my price range ($3000 or less) that isn't a project bike has been tricky so far. In terms of a new bike with a similar riding position, I seem to be limited to the following;
- Triumph Bonneville
- Honda CB500FA/XA
- Suzuki TU250
- Suzuki SVF 650 Gladius
Ideally I would like something at least around 500cc or above so that I can drive a little farther from home before the summer is over without suffering too much from an underpowered engine while on the highways. Any ideas for other options are very welcome!
