your bike has to stay there for 7 days. Hire a good lawyer or ticket fighting co and dont post anymore about it on here.

Yikes... charged.ca <-- if anyone knows how to deal with those charges, it's them

Watched a news report saying cops are now instructed not to knock down tickets. What you get tagged at is what you get.

I guess they decided to clog up the court system. Good for us

where did this happen? The plate cover ticket it a ******** ticket for you to plead guilty...They'll likely give you an offer of dropping it if you plead guilty to everything else. Sucks for you...

This is good advice. I also would recommend Redline / charged.ca ... but it's not going to be cheap. If it's any consolation, HTA 172 charges have a low conviction rate.

****** deal man **** the police they cant do **** when your ona bike why did you even stop??????????

Popo had no mercy. Like if the hta172 wasn't enough

Sent from my tablet using my paws

7 Day impound, min $750 - $950
License suspended - reinstate - $152
Court Summon
Lawyer $300-$800
Chances of it being dropped = 0%
Chances of it being reduced or another alternative scenario where you still have a speeding ticket + suspension on your abstract = 70%
Chances of you being convicted of everything that you got the tickets for = 30%
Eventual convicted ticket = $350-$1000
-----
Min Burp Cost: $1800-$3000
Min insurance hit: 60% companies may not insure you, 30% will give you the run around, 10% will give you a decent but still very high insurance premium. You may likely have to give up riding for a year or two.

Hire a good lawyer, or any firm other than x-copper or these franchise ticket fighting places. Spend money there, it'll make the headache easy.
Beg your boss for more hours, sell off some **** at home.
Don't do it again.

dont sweat it.
you have you first date givven to you, thats just to show up and plead not guilty.
6/12 weeks later you will get a court date given to you.
if the date is gonna be over 12 months then hire someone.
if it in the first year just go by yourself, show p early and talk to te JP.
in court they will most likely just drop it to a 49 over. if they do you can take the 49 over as it is just a regular speeding ticket, no different then 10km over. if they say no to that, then they will ask about your lawyer and if you have one. you say you dont have one and need time to retain one (probably give u 30 days or so). then you get a lawyer and he deals with it.

that way your only looking at the $600 speeding ticket and insurance is cool. a lawyer to fight a 172a is gonna be a lot more then $800 so you can save some money at first if it goes your way.

they will give you the time to get a lawyer because if they dont let you get one and come back then you can appeal the ruling because you did not have proper representation

Op Don't listen to people on the internet, get professional help. Most insurance companies treat 45 over as a major, some are using 30 over as the line now. Remove info from your original post re: what happened. Good luck.
