Anyone watching this year? Lots of changes to keep an eye on with KTM only fielding a 2-rider team, Sutherland and Price in a car instead, Sainz in a Ford, Rally 2 riders.

Yep. Lots of riders on Koves as well this year.

Was rooting for Mason Klein, but he was out with a clutch issue in Stage 2, +6 hours. :(

KTM Red Bull seems to have four riders? Kevin Benavides, Luciano Benavides, Daniel Sanders and the kid, Edgar Canet.
Canet is still in Rally 2. I was incorrect though and they do in fact have a 3-man team. Being a KTM guy I'm always pulling for them in the Dakar and it was sad to see the Toby Price interview where he mentions KTM didn't renew his contract this year.
I'm also a Ford guy and they're having a tough go of it.
I'm also always pulling for Ross Branch as he seems like a nice person on an underdog team.

Who is broadcasting it?

One of the better free streaming sites is actually the Dakar channel on YouTube:

Nice thing about it is that you can skip the non-motorcycle content and only view videos that you are interested in.

Drawback is that they are just 10-minute highlights of each stage and are just a recap.

Year before last, I had access to the live satellite feed on a pirate site, but the drawback of this is there are rarely any announcers, and when do they come on, it's only in French. Lots of dead air when there wasn't anything going on. Also, they skip randomly to all segments of the race, 4-wheels, 2-wheels, quads, etc. so you don't know when the moto stuff will come on. I used to have it playing in the background and would look up from whatever I was doing whenever the moto stuff came on.

Red Bull used to also have regular recaps as well that were quite well done, but they just focused on the performance of... Red Bull Team riders and drivers...

Love the Dakar Youtube channel highlights. In a 10min highlight you'll see 5min bikes, 3.5min cars, some SXS and truck and about 10sec of quads...........because F.U. quads! (If you ride dirtbikes you'll get it)

Same Youtube for recaps and Instagram for clips. FloSports® - Official Site - Live Event Sports Streaming‎ is the official Canadian rights holder but I don't need another streaming service esp. for just two weeks a year. Reviews of flosports in general seems low when I looked last year.

Official website of the Dakar Rally the top bar of the site has the official list of broadcasters.
Flo is worthwhile if you have a lot of time on your hands and like road cycle racing otherwise not so much.
Most of the black market streamers have MAVTV for your Dakar fix FWIW.
