I dont see an are to post for swap meets and this is short notice but the CVMG swapmeet is tomorow oct 4 starting at 8am at the heritage village park on Tremane road close to the 401 right beside Glen Eden .
It is a good size swapmeet .

this is a good one

Old school swap meet with stuff dragged out of barns and garages, not just knock off gear and dealer clearance table crap.well worth the 5 bucks if you have any interest in old bikes, just checking out what rides up in the parking lot is a trip.

Nice swap meet today. It was cold and a little wet but that didn't stop many from attending. The stuff for sale was varied and many pieces were overpriced (I my and others' opinions). A few restored bikes for sale. I was disappointed at not seeing more examples of European motorcycle marques for sale; mostly '70s Japanese models on offer. Nice friendly, talkative vendors as well. Picked up a nice toolbox though.

Well worth going to. The seller near the entrance had some really nice leathers for incredibly low prices. Tons of older Harley parts for cheap. I picked up a set of sportster foot controls for $20. When I got home I checked them online and to buy them new from a dealer, they would've cost around $200. It's really an event for gearheads, DIYers and vintage fans. If you're only into new stuff then don't bother.

It was pretty cold and crappy but kudos to all the vendors that dragged wagon loads of stuff out and braved the chill. I found prices to be what i would find pretty realistic given most of the stuff cant be found new, or at all. There was some stuff that was really beat up but if its better than the piece you have.....
I love these events, and if you ask about a particular part there is an excellent chance they know the guy that has it someplace. Its a pretty good network.
