You're looking at a completely customized 1982 Yamaha XJ650 Seca. This bike has been chopped and welded to get rid of it's ugly bits and lower it a bit, it has a custom seat and new Renthal ultra-low superbike bars.
The gas tank has been upgraded to a cut out shape with a custom 'weathered' finish, a complete re-wiring job including LED signals, a Model A taillight mount, and a new speedo with turn signal, oil, highbeam and neutral lights. Bar end mirrors and a performance 4-into-1 exhaust round out the customized Cafe Race / Bobber conversion.
I just installed a brand new set of Metzeler Lasertec performance tires, and have a spare set of Firestone Deluxe Champion tires with only 300 kms on them if you want that go with that classic '60s look.
Also just had the bike serviced - oil and filter changed, compression test, valves adjusted, new plugs and all fluids and grease points done. They suggested I reline the gas tank to keep the carbs clean, so $225 later and you'll not have to worry about it anymore.
This Seca has the performance package with the dual front rotor brakes (rare in 82!) and an oil cooler to help keep the motor running well on hot days.
Most conversions are done to older, less powerful bikes, but this is a 75+ HP 100+ MPH powerhouse. It runs like a dream, and it's a real head turner.
