Came across this site offering custom helmets. I wonder how safe they are.

I'm just wondering whether the ears on the yellow one will be a problem at high speed. They seem like they will cause a considerable amount of drag.

They claim to be DOT approved but based on what they show the helmets to look like, I have serious doubts about that.

If a cop tries pulling you over to check, just turn the laser on, get them in your sights and boom. No issue.


Then again, I'd love to see someone pull up to a tims with one of those.

With the one with the ears, I'd be more concerned when falling off and catching something on them. It would rip your head right off.

Well, at the bottom of the site it is said in a gray font the following:
