Drive a superbike lookalike, without the superbike insurance price.
I was paying $520/year for insurance as this bike is still classified by insurance as a "sport/touring". Save THOUSANDS on insurance.
I am selling my fully customized 2000 SV650. Built for the track, but I converted it after 1 year of awesome racing and have been using as a daily driver since 2004.
Features include:
SquidSkinz TL1000 Race bodywork (fibreglass) (custom made birdcage and fairing mounts).
Hindle Full race exhaust with Titanium Oval Can.
Dynojet Stage 2 Jetting done and tuned.
Yoshimura Gold Rearsets with custom up and back rearset bracket (remove if you find position to your liking).
Rear Tire Hugger.
Tidy Tail
Flush mount signals
Aftermarket sprockets (One down front one up rear)
Racetech front springs (adjusted for 160 lb rider)
Tinted double bubble windscreen.
Newer brake pads and tires (still lots of life)
To keep the sleek race look, instead of cutting out headlights I mounted 2 Halogen lights in the ram air ducts, and one projector under the nose to make it street legal.
Has the stock tail section with passenger seat on, but will include the solo TL1000 race rear section from the race body kit as well.
The bike has had a few imperfections: light scratches to clutch cover and various paint imperfections as the bike was painted unprofessionally for the track, and has never been "corrected". Repaint or just ride fast and nobody will ever notice.
No plates or insurance as using on my new ride, so if you are test riding, please come with cash in hand, you break you buy.
Will certify upon sale, or will reduce the price a bit if you want to do yourself (I will have to tow it and go through the hassle, your choice).
