Current best insurance?

Did some search for a friend who is age 22, first time buying a bike but has a full M. What is the cheapest insurer?

He wants a GS500F, thanks

Depends on his driving record, where he lives, what kind of coverage he wants, how long he's had his license for etc..

If over 5 years and under 2 tickets then state farm might be the way to go

But doesn't state farm needs the bike attached to car insurance? He has no car, and yes he has 5 years experience and clean record. All he wants is liability.

Just checked TD for him, $1021/yr, still sounds a bit much for a low power bike.

That is a good rate. I'm in my third season with it and paying 1500/year, clean record. First season was 2800 for a 7 month policy

TD cut our rates by half. About $800 for my 650 versys and my wife's 175 cc scoot. We're in our 40's but are both only in our 3rd season of riding.

Those good old days of "best" insurance has long gone. Nowadays it is an insurance that "sucks the least".

Don't blame the companies; instead, blame the nowaday drivers and the lawyers who will "fight for your best interest"
