That was actually a great race.
I feel horribly sorry for the guys getting lapped.

Short track. It's bound to happen. You're right it was a good race. Jordan sold me a back protector so were like buddies now. Lol

Motorcycle racing does not use blue flags for lapped riders anywhere at any level. That's a car-racing thing.

It's a lot easier for bikes to get around each other, than it is for cars to do so.
 
You know it's Canadian racing when the commentator says "OH, THAT WAS BEAUTY!" after Jodi's start, lol

Ahhh. When the commentators said "he did a great job getting out of the way even without the blue flag" they made it seem they just weren't using em for that race or something. Thanks for the answer.
 
^ Fair point. Correction: Blue flags are not used in motorcycle roadracing at any level!

I've seen it a few times, both in Moto2 and GP. I remember it being an issue in Indianapolis and Valencia last year when Lorenzo caught up to backmarkers and they didn't see the blue flag and didn't get out of the way.
 
Was a great day at shannonville watching it live although not that many fans there. Cool seeing the coast guard chopper bring troops to watch

Guess you weren't there last year if you thought that this year was a small crowd.

The fly over at departure over the bikes on the track was cool.
