Me too. This is the weekend all the Souther Cruisers have a weekend planned in Port Severn. The Husky station is a popular meet spot for those heading up to Severn. GWS Rider, hope its not someone I know, ive had too many friends lost this season.

I just drove past the scene going southbound. GWS rider. Couldn't tell the model of motorcycle but it was into the guardrail leaning at a 45 degree angle. The air ambulance had already left.

It was an incredibly eerie sight seeing the 400 NB completely empty and devoid of traffic for 10 km.

And then a "damn I'm glad I'm not in that" feeling after driving past, literally, a 10km chain of cars stopped dead in their tracks. (traffic was backed up from hwy 88 to past hwy 9)

This weekend is going to be very nice. PLEASE BE CAREFUL

BRADFORD WEST GWILLIMBURY — Highway 400 was closed in both directions between highways 88 and 89 after a motorcycle struck the guard rail.An air ambulance was dispatched to the scene following the crash, which occurred around around 11:20 a.m. in the northbound lanes near the Line 11 overpass.

According to provincial police, a 51-year-old Mississauga man lost control of his motorcycle and struck the steel guard rail. He was taken to St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto with severe foot and leg injuries, and is listed in critical condition.

Police are still trying to determine why the man lost control of his bike.
Anyone with information can call Aurora OPP at 905-841-5777.

The highway has since re-opened.

Get well soon, hope witnesses come forward soon with this...

GWS Rider. Word is he may have lost a leg in the accident. Single vehicle accident....bike inexplicably dove into the guard rails. Bike is being examined for mechanical failure.

My uncle had a VERY similar accident on the 400-S almost 2 years ago now...he is still recovering, GWS rider :(
