BRADFORD WEST GWILLIMBURY — Highway 400 was closed in both directions between highways 88 and 89 after a motorcycle struck the guard rail.An air ambulance was dispatched to the scene following the crash, which occurred around around 11:20 a.m. in the northbound lanes near the Line 11 overpass.
According to provincial police, a 51-year-old Mississauga man lost control of his motorcycle and struck the steel guard rail. He was taken to St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto with severe foot and leg injuries, and is listed in critical condition.
Police are still trying to determine why the man lost control of his bike.
