Right into the lungs. For two days straight I had to cough every five minutes or sooner. No sleep. Getting much better now. Only lasted five days in my kid. My lungs still bubble when I breathe. Don't catch it. Stay away!!!

I got something a week or so ago, was hacking up phelm for days, finally that subsided and now dealing with a dry cough and light phlem. But it didn't really knock me out like a flu, it was weird.

Did you use a rapid test for interest? We have so many of the damn things that we use them when we are sick just to see. Covid symptoms were changing with time but I havent heard a recent list.

viruses, not virus. I'm sick with different "fun" stuff almost every week.

Tested once - COVID negative. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I had a real bad case of some kind of cold or flu about 2wks ago, just started clearing up a couple days ago.

Test was negative when I wasn't so sick. I shouldn't presume that it was a virus. Will test again, since we have them. Good news is that my wife hasn't come down with it. I haven't been out and about as I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy, and I can't imagine having this AND COVID.

It just takes one snotty door knob to ruin everything...
Wash your hands. Stay home or outside. Keep your distance (10 m is probably good). Wear a mask until they prove they don't work. Stay alone. :(

Our little kiddos were visiting with their aunt who came down with a positive test for covid two days later. Same day she tested positive our kiddos got sick and then wife got sick.
It irritates the wife every year that I never get sick even though both kiddos cough and snot on me. Whiskey kills those germs I tell her :)

Yep, one of my kids got it from his friend then passed it onto 2nd little one and now onto me. Not a fun time.

Base levels of COVID in the community are higher now than they have been before (the continued troughs are trending upwards and are higher). It’s still about and you can catch it more than once. Try to avoid it as best you can as the continued data about what it does long term is not looking good. I got my bivalent booster today, still mask indoors if there’s lots of people about.

I don't know about long term, But going to bed tired and waking up tired is apart of long term, Yep that's me

Just to update. Year and a half or so and my good friend still doesn’t have his taste or smell back. He can differentiate that something is ‘sweet’ but that’s about it.

All those messages of washing hands etc during the main part of COVID certainly didn't have any impact. I work in the events industry and the things I see constantly is a bit shocking. The latest, I saw this guest wolf down some food (walking around while socializing) and then proceed to lick there fingers to "wash" them I guess, then start touching stuff. Not a kid either, a parent. Basic hygenie would go along way if people tried.

Wife has 4 staff that are all on the third round with Covid. She thinks they lick handles on grocery carts .

I'm still a Covid Virgin.

You'd need a special test to determine that. Some people had mild or no symptoms.
I don't know if they can determine anymore. If you got a jab, the antibody test will come back as positive. Not sure if they are able to isolate whether you have antibodies from vaccines or natural infection.
