Cracking noise when braking hard on 08 cbr600rr.... pls help

Hi guys...
Purchased a used 08 cbr600rr from a dealer with low km. Experiencing cracking coming from steering wheels it feels like or maybe the disc? when braking hard or moderate... Dealer installed new tires... has me worried that he did not tighten something.

Take it back to the dealer before something falls off. Not normal, but pretty hard to diagnose over the internet.

A quick check you can do is check the caliper bolts, those would habe to come off in order to change the tires. Since its new to you though you really don't know if its due to them changing the tires so I agree bring it back and let them diagnose it.

+1... you're still within the 36 day safety period and brakes are definitely part of safety...

Just because the certificate is valid for 36 days does not imply any sort of warranty. They certify that the day they looked at the bike the requirements were met. If it all falls apart the day after, that is your problem not the mechanics.

The head bearings can click if adjusted improperly, this can show up under braking. Let us know what the dealer finds.
