The attached gives the intent of the scam, basically getting a SIN. I thought the video would have a humourous twist but not so.
What bugs me is the amount of personal data that is already out there. If you write a cheque the receiver or anyone that sees it can gather your bank info and a copy of your signature.
There are companies and individuals that imply they need or have the right to more personal data than is required by legal practices.
Even the biggest and best have fallen prey to hackers.
