Agreed. Went to 4 pharmacies today.
3 - all ran out
1 - never got any
1/3 said they get 20 per day to hand out. They can have 500 in the back but only 20 per day….FML.

Walmart got slapped as they didn't want people mobbing stores to get the few kits available so you needed to make an online grocery purchase of >$35 and then add the free kit to your cart. Douggie called them out and said kits were provided for free and they expect them to be distributed for free and if Walmart doesn't see it the same way, they would be removed from the distribution chain. Walmart now has the kits in store for free.
We have something like seven or eight boxes here. Thankfully we don't need to be in the ratrace lottery for kits.
Family doctors seem like an obvious distribution vector that was missed (they can distribute to those they deem vulnerable, it could encourage people to see a health care professional as most probably haven't for years, etc).

Got mine this morning at Walmart. Walked in, asked the Pharmacy, they don't have them in the Pharmacy section.
Kept walking and saw a lady with one in her hand. Turns out the front door greeter, and cart sanitizer, had a stack behind her stand that she hands out IF you ask. They were yelling at a lady that tried to get more than 1.

Ditto @ Basics for the Mrs, a person at the exit handing out one to a customer. She really did have to go in again for something she forgot and got a second box.
I haven't really looked at the contents but it looks like a ten pack of tests. There should be a YouTube video.
An anti vaxxer I know claims he did two tests without even swabbing his nose and both came out positive. Fake test kit or fake test user?

Edit: I think this is the kit my kid got from his union, where two of us tested positive and one negative on New Years.
I'm not sure if it's the same as my brother had at Christmas, where we all tested negative.
For entertainment, read the instructions in the box. I still can't believe the province hasn't printed a simple step by step guide to be distributed with every box.
Our family has done ~15 RATs. No positives. You can contact the RAT company and they will send you vials of positive and negative test solution.
Sorry, if I don't have it, why would I want a vial of positive solution sent through the mail?
I assume it triggers the test as positive, it's not a vial of infectious disease. Kits were originally for health care professionals. Probably good practice to test a few in each batch to see if they trigger positive when they are supposed to.
Instructions aren't that easy. Too much info and they don't read any of it. Not enough and they mess it up.
Then you have to consider that the kits have to be used by people that voted for Wynne, Trudeau, Ford (Me). It's hard to make something that idiot proof.
