Hello again folks, need help once again. 2009 ninja 250, horn stopped working. Early afternoon I was at work and it was raining so I don't know if that caused it. Don't use horn much so I can't be certain if it was working before the rain. How do I check, in details explain what to check please.

2. Its about time to clean my Icon helmet visor with anti-fog coating. What's the best way to do it so the coating is still there.

Make sure horn fuse is not blown.

Find the horn. Make sure there are two wires connected directly to the horn.
If they are there, remove and make sure they are clean.
Follow the wires back to wiring harness. Make sure they are connected to the harness.
Make sure wires are not broken, or damaged.

Check that horn button wires are OK.
Follow those back to the harness. Make sure they are attatched.

Hot water and dish soap for the visor. I hear some ppl use rain-x on theirs, but Ive also heard others caution against this practise due to the risk of damaging the visor coating.

If all this fails. Take off the wires going to the horn.
Put 12 volts onto the horn, it should work that way.
If it does not, your horn is pooched.

Also make sure the horn is not rubbing up against anything.

Thanks guys, after checking and finding my horn it looked the wiring was out, don't know how but it was.

Secondly, dish soap and hot water works? And won't mess up my anti fog coating?

Avoid cleaning the inside of the visor too vigorously, the Icon coating won't take much before it's all washed away.

There are owners manuals on the Icon site that explain how to clean your visor.

My old CB919 always had the horn going, it was the wiring that actually connected to the horn itself, not sure if rocks hit it or what. It is exposed so that would be the first thing I check.

I already fixed it. Thanks anyways though the wiring came off. Still trying to find a good way to clean my visor

Also, what is a good air filter, oil filter and oil for my bike. I will be changing these very soon. I have a stock exhaust, Thanks for future answers

1. OEM from Kawasaki
2. OEM from Kawasaki
3. Whatever Kawasaki dealership has in stock when you buy the first 2 items.

OMG, you wait untill you have only 200km left before the oil has to be changed?
And it's a 09 250 Ninja?

I would be in full panic mode.
