Some overhead pipes in the underground parking garage must have dripped onto the hood and left nasty rust stains on my daughter's 2019 Jetta. Not sure how long they were there for, but she only mentioned it today when she was visiting. Before filming the video, I tried using Pro Wash RX both diluted as directed as well as full concentration, scrubbing for even longer than shown here. Also tried vinegar which I saw in another video, but didn't have half an hour to soak the stains. Just as I was about to give up and use Meguiar's Ultimate Compound which has never failed me (but is aggressive and I reserve it for oxidized surfaces), I remembered I still had a small amount of Xtreme Clean. What a difference!
