Cops are too agressive this year

Is it only my observation?*
I see 'em everywhere now... This July, after making 50 000km on two wheels in the past three years, I started my new experience being catch for speed.*

Ride safe and pay attention!

:binky:

Might be perception or you might be going to spots where they think they can collect most money.. I haven't seen a huge increase (but then again, my mileage has been pretty piss-poor this season).

I've seen less speed traps on the 400 series this year than previous. I think with Fartino gone, there appears to be less publicity regarding police blitz. There have been a few announcements and campaigns etc. I just think there has been less.

i got pulled over in my car 2 days ago and didnt get a ticket the cop said he just wanted to see if the car was stolen or if i would take off when he turned the lights on.

I've pulled over on separate occasions around 230a-330a for no reason coming home from work on HWY 427. First time I was told it was to check insurance and registration on the bike (not speeding at all. I was in 4th and still around 85-90km). The second time the officer wanted to know why I was out so late (probably though at that hour I was coming back from bar). I told him I was coming back from work and showed him by ID badge.

only pulled over once this year for mistaken identity, I'd say there is less police presence.

Haven't been pulled over in years... I keep my eyes open.

No stops yet. I stay clear from all cars marked opp and yrp. But I hve made quite a few detours

everyone..... just get a bigger bike.....and dont stop......problems solved.....LOL

Probably, this is not my year :sad8:

That's what you get when you go hooliganing

P.S. Let me know when you plan a Sunday/Monday run, I'm most likely in :)

My buddy got blocked out last week and they said thanks for stopping we don't chase bikes. Then asked his relationship with the bike that swerved around the cruiser and took off. But of course they met on the road ;)

Umm wouldn't they just run your plates to see if it is reported stolen or not...?

I feel like there's not much police out there, the only time I spoke to them this year was on Manitoulin Island, they were looking for drunk driver....at 17h00 looool. I was totally surprised, the cop was totally french :o (ok, speaks English with french accent)
