Coolant Temp Jumping

The Temp guage on my 09 GSXR jumps readings when warmed up. Fluctuates between ~70-85. So to describe it, say I was cruising at 100km/h the reading would change about every 2sec from 72 to 76 to 86 to 73 to 78 to 75 etc.
Temps stay in that range, doesn't overheat, and seems to warm up just fine. Any ideas?

there you go BRAND NEW gixxer 1000 doing the same thing. Dealer has already replaced thermostat and temp sensor right beside the stat. Temp stays steady around town once the stat is open but backroad or hwy cruising the bike seems to "overcool". My buddy has a 2010 1000 and he says it does the exact same thing....

I did some research and it's a common thing. Nothing to worry about. In cooler temps (~25 or less) it jumps around almost as if the cooling system is too efficient. Works "normal" and doesn't jump when the bike gets hot either in traffic or on hotter days.
